Some great things have been happening at the gym since our last newsletter!
On the 22nd of September we will be holding our first Sub 60 Smash team challenge. This will help us fundraise for new equipment and also to provide our community with a way to get involved with the gym. Registration is $100 for a team of four, which should have at least one male and one female. We will provide goodies on the day, along with prizes and a lot of fun! If this sounds like you, message us today and get your registrations in. We can also help those who would like to take part but don’t have a team, to help join a team!
Classes are keeping steady numbers and our Friday classes have been going well, with a new surprise every Friday! Sueann is really impressed with her over 50s class which is getting more popular each week. Our timetable is as follows:
Monday 6am PUMP
Wednesday 6am Metafit/Metapwr
Wednesday 10am Sit and Be Fit
Wednesday 1.15pm Sit and Be Fit (Men)
Thursday 10am Over 50s
Friday 6am Surprise Fridays
Friday 10am Sit and Be Fit
We have some delicious new protein bars in stock at the moment, so come in and give them a try. We have a range of Protein Crunch (protein wafers), Fulfil bars (White Choc and cookie dough, Choc Mint and peanut caramel), Snickers and Mars protein bars. We also have some yummy peak energy chocolate (gluten free, vegan and paleo) and BBQ Almond Chips. Most are Zen Project 8 friendly and are great healthy snack options!
A gentle reminder for everyone to follow our simple conduct rules in the Gym. Since everyone uses the equipment, we need to be mindful to remember to clean the equipment and put away after use. Cameras are in operation 24/7 so remember to refrain from bringing non-members into the gym. These simple things make our job easier, and help maintain a clean and safe place for everyone.
Soon we will be changing the gym hours, so keep an eye out. If you need to renew your membership and you cannot make it during the opening hours, you can pay via internet banking. If you would like to do so, make sure you send us an email with payment confirmation and we will load your new membership as soon as we are in the office again.
